I’m intimidated by gyms because I don’t like to work out in front of other people. My idea of exercise is a brisk walk outdoors when the weather is nice or 30 minutes on my home treadmill or elliptical. Often I miss my workout due to a lack of motivation or a heavy travel schedule for work. As I turned 60 this year, I realized I needed to get serious about my fitness so I joined an on-line Tabata boot camp with a trainer named Lisa McNett. Tabata is the busy person’s answer to exercise. Lisa has demonstrated expert knowledge not only in exercise, but also in health and nutrition. She makes each workout challenging, creative and fun! I especially like that she reminds me of the correct form with each exercise and she also suggests modifications if an exercise is too hard. Lisa motivates me to push past my perceived limits to get results. Because of Lisa’s efforts, I’m stronger, more flexible and in better shape. Lisa is the standard by which any trainer should be measured!

I am grateful to you dear Lisa for introducing me to your Tabata boot camp. Being a mother of 5 who home schools and enjoys volunteering in the community doesn't leave me with much time to join a gym. I would have to get ready, drive to the gym, do my workout, drive home, shower, etc..which would equal over an hour away from my family and husband. Working out from home allows me to watch and follow Lisa's videos as well as those in the Tabata website on my schedule. I have been doing the 30 min workouts 6 days a week for about 4 months now! I have no excuse not to do it. Having the flexibility to workout in the morning, afternoon, or evening works for my busy life. I have gone from feeling weak and tired to frustrating my nursing 1 y/o because she no longer has my fat rolls to snuggle and play with. Sorry if TMI but I think honesty is the best option to let people know this works because you modify to your level till one day you notice you don't need to modify. Working out using the Tabata videos has been awesome because I look and feel healthier and that's what working out is all about! Thanks Lisa!
