Are you ready for May?!! This month I am relaunching the Movement Challenge! This is a great way to encourage each of us to get up and move our bodies more! PLUS a little cash prize never hurt right??
This is a movement challange so that means you will earn points for the minute you move each day! You want to try to get in at least 20 minutes a day. Examples: Day 1 20 minutes of walking = 20 points! Day 2 5 minutes of office push ups = 5 points 15 minute walk around the office = 15 points Day 3 30 minute workout (HIIT, Kickboxing, Barre, etc.) = 30 points Day 4 10 minutes of dancing = 10 points 5 minutes of park jumping jacks = 5 points Share the move of the day via DM, the challenge group, Instagram (you must tag me) for an extra point! You can see the idea right? You want to move at least 20 minutes a day and do no less than a 5 minute incriment. You will get points for taking a full class, exercising at park with you kids (walking there instead of driving - track your time), getting up at the office to move around, etc. I will also provide you with some HIIT workouts (30 minutes max), strength and stretching you can do (this is not required but an added bonus.) I will also provide you with ideas for exercises to do at the office, park, at home, and modifications to go along with. With this challenge you will also be getting some tips and recipes as an added bonus. The more you are engaged on the forum and moving the greater your chances are of winning. We are all in this together so the forum will be a private group just for this challenge. Here you will be able to cheer each other on, check in with me, find all the ideas and workouts and more! Each week you will submit your weekly minutes (so be sure to be keeping track and please be honest) and I will keep track. At the end of the 2 week challenge the total points will be put together and 3 winners will be chosen. The top 3 movers will split the money pot (so... THE MORE WE HAVE SIGN UP THE LARGER THE POT ;) ;).) Plus I will be randomly doing challenge prizes during the weeks, so make sure your notifications are on and you are staying engaged. I am there to help you stay accountable and moving and am always available if you have questions! The cost is $15 to join the challenge, of that $15, $10 will go into a group pot. This is where the cash prize will come from at the end, so you can see how getting more involved will help this pot grow right ;) We will need at least 20 people to sign up for tell everyone you know and lets get moving this holiday season.
